UltraGlycemX™ is a specifically fortified, vegetarian, powdered
medical food designed for nutritional support of individuals with insulin
resistance and hyperinsulinemia. Insulin is the primary hormonal modulator
of blood glucose and has a significant impact on the onset and development
of Type II diabetes. Additionally, insulin activity helps regulate a variety
of meatabolic activities; therefore, its proper control is important in
the management of weight loss, lipid disorders, heart disease, and hypertension.
UltraGlycemX™ is a pleasant tasting beverage mix formula
that provides high-quality protein, carbohydrate, and fat, with the inclusion
of specific fibers, vitamins, minerals, and phytonutrients to nutritionally
support insulin and glucose response. UltraGlycemX™ is
free of dairy, lactose, wheat, gluten, egg, yeast, artificial colors, and
artificial flavors, and is suitable for inclusion in diets avoiding these
substances. UltraGlycemX™ provides nutrient support to individuals suspected
of insulin resistance and hyperinsulinemia when combined with a low-glycemic,
high-fiber dietary program as provided in the UltraGlycemX Patient Guide. When
blended with water, UltraGlycemX provides a balanced supplement or meal
replacement. |
