Lipotain™ is

supplying a potent quantity (500mg) of inositol hexanicotinate per tablet. This unique, sustained-release form

A Slow-Release Form of Niacin
Lipotain™ features the benefits of inositol hexanicotinate (IHN),
a natural, slowly metabolized form of niacin. Niacin is will established as a nutrient that helps maintain healthy
lipid levels; however, niacin supplementation is often associated with side effects such as flushing, increased
blood sugar, and increased uric acid. In attempts to find a safer form of niacin, researchers have discovered the
value of IHN. IHN does not reach maximum serum levels for approximately 10 hours after ingestion, and has fewer
and less severe side effects. The compound consists of six molecules of niacin and one molecule of inositol. It
is metabolized in the body into its component parts, niacin and inositol, allowing for the positive benefits associated
with both nutrients. When administered orally, the result is a sustained increase in serum levels of free niacin.
