Recommendations: For Muscle Gains: 1/2 cup mixed with eight ounces of water, taken 30 minutes prior to workout and again 20-30 minutes after workout.
For Extra Calories: Take as above, plus two other times during the day, preferably 11/2 hours before a meal.
For Carbohydrate Loading: 1/2 cup mixed with eight ounces of water consumed with each meal. For the first hour and a half after intense, sustained workouts, consume 1/2 cup mixed in eight ounces of water every half-hour.
